South Causey Inn‘s recently completed barn is now open. Its a wonderful space they have created; a brand new barn which maintains a vintage and rustic feel. It was the perfect venue and backdrop for Abbey & Simon’s stylish and nature inspired wedding. Elements of the outdoors were featured throughout the wedding decor and through the colour tones of white, grey and green.
It was a real treat to start the day with bridel prep at Abbey’s parents’ home – a converted Church which could be a home straight out of Grand Designs! Abbey’s wore a beautiful lace dress & veil purchased from ‘I Do’ Wedding Specialists, accessorised with shoes from Phase Eight and bag from Katie Loxton. The glam squad included make up by The Costa Chic and Nikki Keenan. The bridesmaids were decked out in a super stylish 2 piece outfits by Jenny Packham (skirts), Debut (tops) at Debenhams and shoes by Pretty little things. The Groom & Groomsmen wore navy 3 piece suits by Next (suits) and Debenhams (waistcoats). The whole day was adorned with beautiful blooms in the form of bouquets, buttonholes, table flowers, fresh flower confetti, as well as succulents on the wedding cake by Katie Jane at The Garden Studio. During the reception, guests were serenaded by guitarist and vocalist Mark John, who also started the evening of dancing with a superb rendition of ‘Higher Love’ for the first dance.
Congratulations Abbey and Simon!
